Interview a Local Business Owner: Before February break, interview in person an owner or manager of any local business.

Unit: Economics and Globalization and Competition.

Our Purpose: Students will understand the effects of globalization on our community, our state, our country as well as their own lives.

Rumford-Cape Essay Analysis -- Continued
Purpose: you will learn how to identify the parts of an essay and color code them to help you eventually identity the strengths and weaknesses of your writing.
1) Go to the classroom and complete the formative assessment on essay analysis.
2) Review the correct analysis, identifying any mistakes you might have made. Do not correct them.
3) In your own essay, add the new underlining where your claims and evidence were done correctly.

Independent Reading
Target: After completing this unit, you will be able to determine how an author develops a theme in  a literary text.
Use the template in Classroom to write about the meaning in your book.
