1) Read "The Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong." Here is an audiobook recording Part 1. AND Part 2
2) As you read, record four quotes from the text: two that show how Mary Ann is characterized in the beginning; two that show how Mary Ann is characterized in the middle; two that show how Mary Ann is characterized in the end;
3) Record the quotes in the assignment in Google Classroom called "The Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong" Notes and Essay
4) Also answer the following question in the document: "Based on Mary Ann's character development, what is the theme of the story?"
