Unit: Rumford or Cape? Interviews
Milo Knowles and Kate LaPlante will debrief the Adam Danielson interview.

Unit: Rumford or Cape -- Writing the essay
Today, we will be assembling/writing the essay for the unit.
1) Introductions/conclusions: use something from the outsiders or use an anecdotal introduction.
2) Claim workshop: we will put on the board the four categories of claims (pro Cape, pro Rumford, anti Cape, anti Rumford) and brainstorm possible claims.
3) The importance of the counter claim.
4) The order of the essay.
5) Warrant reminder lesson: Says: explain the evidence; means: explain how the evidence relates and supports your claim; matters: explain how your evidence, along with the claim, supports your thesis.
6) Reminder: when we started this unit, you compiled a list of what there should be in the perfect community. It's called: "2022-01-25 Attributes of the Perfect Community"
7) Write.
