Unit: Globalism -- Globalization Essay
Learning TargetI can explain the pros and cons of globalization including how globalization.

Here is the paper format:

Introduction:

Introduce globalization as a concept that connects people worldwide and explain why it's important to study its positive and negative aspects. Make sure to clearly explain what globalization is. Explain that the essay will focus on the good and bad things about globalization, including the cost of war.

Body Sections:

The Good Side of Globalization` Paragraphs:

  1. With 1-2 claims, talk about the positive things that globalization brings. Examples should be both personal and from Planet Money Makes a T-Shirt

The Challenges and Not-So-Good Effects Paragraphs:

  1. With 1-2 claims, discuss the problems that can come with globalization. Using the Mock Economy, explain how it can lead to unfairness in how money is shared or harm the environment or create social problems. 

Globalization and the Cost of War Paragraphs:

  1. Explain how globalization and war are connected. With 2-3 claims, discuss the costs and /or benefits of wars. Use Restrepo to talk about how war affects people's lives.

Conclusion:

Summarize the main points covered in the essay, emphasizing that globalization has both good and bad sides. Encourage your reader to think about how wars can be a consequence of globalization

Transitions: Between each paragraph, write the sentences needed to explain what comes next.

Formatting and Citations:

Format your paper with arial or times new roman font, double spaced; Use MLA citations to cite your sources; include a works cited page.
