Philosophy Quote Challenge
Directions, for each quotation, answer the following questions on a separate piece of paper:
1) What is the quotes?
2) What philosophy does the quote come from?
3) What are the beliefs of the philosophy?
4) What does the quote mean?
5) How does the quote fit the philosophy?
6) When in your life would this quote and it’s underlying belief had been useful?
After set time, two circles, alternate cold call with volunteers.
After the student presents the meaning of the quote, other students must prompt the presenter with academic questions.
After the conversations, each person will create a poster with their quote. The quotes will be displayed on the wall and used in application for the next challenge...
Design a School Challenge
In
30 minutes, use the three philosophies to design a school. Each member
of the group must design a separate part of the school. Categories of
design include: curriculum, building, rules & policies, etc.
