College Trip Debrief
Circle: One thing, other than the lunch, that you liked, found interesting, or had more questions about?

Activity: What is a diploma?  How much of a difference does getting a college degree in your life? Using the internet, find some articles that highlight the advantages of getting a four year college degree.  These could be money related, health related, happiness related, upward mobility related, future success related.  You should find at least two articles that explain the possible advantages(stated above) about getting a four-year college degree.  You will be writing 2 paragraphs that support getting a college education using the claim, evidence warrant format.  These will be turned in.

The Cave
Learning target: you will be able to tell the original Allegory of the Cave by the end of class.
Last class, we read the Allegory of the Cave. Today, you will be writing about what you understand and what you think.  If you do well on this assessment, you will receive credit, if you do poorly, it will not count.
