Today, we'll be writing the conclusion to your essay. Since the point of the essay is to compare the Knights and Samurai, your conclusion must explain your choice.
1) For the most part, your body paragraphs contain the "says" and "means" portion of your warranting.
2) In the conclusion, you will be highlighting the three comparisons you have made and writing the "matters" portion of the warrant.
3) What this means is that you will explain how the philosophy you prefer matters to you.
4) If, within the philosophy you prefer, there is a aspect of that philosophy that you reject, you will still include that and explain what you don't like about it.
5) With this format, your conclusion will be three parts -- one for each paragraph.
6) If your body paragraphs all included "matters" statements, then your conclusion highlights the matters the matter the most, explaining again for the reader why you have made the choice you have made.
