Speak Summary 

Speak Writing Challenge
With your reading group, your challenge is to create a group essay on Speak. The thesis must address one of the themes we have discussed so far this year. Your group will be making all decisions about the essay's thesis, organization, title, etc.  Reminder: Group essays put each element of the essay on a separate page. You have 30 minutes to complete this task and may ask ANY STUDENT in the room for ideas, help, etc., but will receive no aid from Mr. Burns or Mr. Toohey. You will be assessed only of how hard you are working on this task and how much you are a cooperative member of your group.

Quick quick quick explanations of the revolution you researched and what made it fit the definition of a revolution.

Maslow Review
Create one of the following presentations:

• Use Maslow's hierarchy of needs to explain the prisoner's journey and all aspects of the Allegory of the Cave;
• Create a fictional story that move a character from the middle of Maslow's hierarchy of needs to the bottom, then all the way to the top.
• Create a presentation of your choice that explains Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
