Checklist for Writing Capitalism Essay
-Open Pages
-Name Document: lastname firstname CapitalismEssay bbxx
-Name & date in an upper corner
-Interesting title
-Introduction with your thesis at the end of the paragraph
-One paragraph to explain what capitalism is and how it works
-Many body paragraphs explaining, with supporting specific details, a good or bad thing about capitalism.
Things to Worry About & Know:
You must use specific examples: names of people, scenes from the movie, etc.
Your claims (also called topic sentences) must all support your thesis.
Your warrants must clearly explain why your evidence proves your claim to be true.
You can use any notes or documents your have.

At your table, brainstorm a list of things you could bring for Tuesday's presentation that would help you explain the good and bad things about capitalism.
Build a life in Flint: You will need to do the following...
Find a house for under 15,000 that your parents wouldn't mind you living in

Find out what school you would attend i.e. what high school for your neighborhood

Find an affordable car to buy that is local i.e craigslist
What is there to do for entertainment around your neighbohood
Find distances to nearest supermarket, department store
Find out how safe your neighborhood is...crime rates?
