Explanation -- Capitalism is a competitive economic system where:
1) All people compete with each other to either appear more important in social rankings or to fit in where they think they belong -- remember Maslow's hierarchy of needs. This one os most important.
Then:
2) Suppliers compete to give people stuff at the highest price they can get away with;
3) Consumers compete with each other to pay as little as possible for things;
4) Workers compete with other to be paid as much as possible;
5) Owners compete with each other to pay workers as little as possible;
6) Workers compete with each other to be the most qualified.
Question -- Describe a time when you were aware that you were competing for something with the people around you.
