Architecture Test
As we learned, architecture does two things: it's form is designed according to it's function, and it is built to express belief.  Give an example of both from either the Prezi or the building you researched.

Unit on Government and Human Nature
Focus Question:  What's the best type of government?

Architecture Scavenger Hunt
Architecture can do the following things:
-Inspire you
-Comfort you
-Protect you
-Make you uncomfortable
-Project strength
-Calm you
-Disorient you
1) In your group, pick four of the attributes above, and brainstorm a place in the building that exemplifies that attribute. (5 minutes)
2) Each person go that location and take a picture of it.
3) Come back to the room, share your photos and create a podcast that uses the photos to explain what architecture does and how it does.

Design a School Challenge
Pick a philosopher from this grid, and design a school where nearly EVERY decision you make is based on the belief of one of the philosophers.
Notes:
     -Your designs must express what you believe about human nature and government.
     -You must be able to explain how form follows function.
