Census Data: Rumford. Cape Elizabeth Norway. First you will explore the demographics of each Cape and Rumford. What do you notice? Then you will create a chart to compare side by side the three towns. We chose Norway as a representitive of the Oxford Hills. You will open up three separate windows so you can view the demographics and then create a pencil T-Chart the shows some of the biggest differences and similarities. You will then be asked to report out from you table what you believe this means and the implications for you child and where you move. This will become a paragraph.
Real Estate: Zillow: Using your Element of Deep Culture sheet and the values list, what can you determine about the different communities values by looking at houses for sale? Cape Elizabeth Rumford
Activity: Using the same values sheet you used to with you child, break down the list dividing it into a column for Cape and Rumford. Which values do you think go under each town based on the real estate you saw. Then create a list from both that you think is important for your kid.
Writing an introduction: You will be writing an introduction that sets up the reader(Coen and Toohey) for what you paper is about. Here is an example of some Introductions
