Recruitment Fair: In the gymnasium.  Come to class first!

Vocab Test: Affluence, Disparity, Homogeneous, Heterogeneous, Transition

Reading: Quiet, peaceful, prepared. 

Circle: Were your parents cool when they were in high school?

If you traveled back in time to your parents' last year of high school, you would be an outsider.  How accepting would your teenage parents be of you (assuming they didn't know you were their future child)?  If your teenage parents traveled forward in time to visit you in high school, how accepting would you be of them (again, assuming you don't know its your parents). 

Review: Get one of yesterday's yearbook.  Find one trend from the past that you want to share with Mr. Toohey.

Elements of Culture: 

Take a few moments to individually fill out examples of what this looks like in your own life.  

As a table group, brainstorm some of the elements of culture that would be the same in MV and Cape and a couple that would have a disparity.  

Exit Ticket: What element of culture most sneakily finds it way into your life?

Watch: Watch part 3b of The Rivals.  Take copious notes.
